About Katherine Bassey

Katherine Bassey is an EMCC accredited executive coach, coaching supervisor and team facilitator. A Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management, with over 30 years in organisational development and people management roles in the public and third sectors.

Specialising in leadership development, team building, individual coaching and action learning, Katherine also judges for the CIPD’s People Management awards, Engage Awards and volunteers with Engage for Success, chairing ‘thought and action’ groups to help ‘shine a light’ on best practice in employee engagement. After completing her MA in Human Resource Management at the University of Westminster, Katherine’s work has been strongly influenced by her training and practice in internal and external coaching, Time to Think facilitation, mindfulness and workplace mediation. She also uses a range of psychometrics designed to promote understanding of difference and to promote team cohesion.

Katherine is committed to encouraging creativity, collaboration and compassion in the workplace. She is a keen wildlife gardener and up-cycler of found objects, finding much in common across the worlds of work and nature. She lives in London with her husband and two daughters.
